A view towards Puenta la Reina
in Navarra. In Navarra all the signs were both in Spanish (castellano) and Basque (euskara), the two official languages of this autonomous region. Navarra was never really occupied by Moors so there are very few visible Arab influences in e.g. architecture. The beginning of the Camino from Roncesvalles is mainly pastureland, the wine growing area starts just before Puenta la Reina and intensifies when coming towards the next autonomous region of La Rioja.
