An attactive small
town of Hontanas, autonomous region of Castilla y León, province of
Burgos. Italian pilgrim Domenico Laffi found Hontanas in 1670's wretched
and poor, appreciating the wilderness of the surrounding meseta much more.
I liked them both. I heard much about the meseta and how tough walk it would
be, but I thought especially the part between Burgos and Castrogediz was
very beautiful with all the flowers blooming (like in the previous picture). [Next picture =>] [Previous picture]
