Talking about pilgrim
statues. Here is the oldest of the modern statues, Santiago Peregrino by Gerardo
Brun. The statue is standing just outside Puenta la Reina, at the crossing
where the road from Arles via Somport pass, "Camino Aragonés" meets
the road from Roncesvalles, "Camino Francés". From here on there is
only one road to Santiago.
